"The Cagliari-Olbia high-speed train test has been successfully completed. The positive revolution in Sardinia is about to begin, and the two cities will be connected in just 2 hours and 15 minutes."

The Ministry of Transport thus welcomed the results of the test on the new route, explaining that "the technical verification phase now begins."

Specifically, "RFI and Trenitalia will analyze the data collected during the journey to assess performance, compatibility with the infrastructure, and the train's behavior. Subsequently, the technical and organizational assessments required to transform the route into a stable connection, to be included in Sardinia's rail schedule, will be completed."

For Minister Matteo Salvini, "this is a fundamental step for the whole of Sardinia." The minister also expressed his satisfaction and confidence for the future, as the investments, the work done, and even some inherent inconveniences are producing tangible results in making rail connections more modern, efficient, and competitive, to the benefit of citizens and businesses."
