The technicians are eliminating, in particular, a dispersion in the section between Piazza del Carmine and Via Nazario Sauro . To operate, the point concerned is isolated and delivery to the user is started through the secondary pipelines. Therefore, there could be drops in pressure, especially on the upper floors of condominiums.

Abbanoa also points out that he has already planned the entire renovation of the viale Trieste pipeline : «Thanks to an investment of about one and a half million euros, obtained from the “FSC” European funds for development and cohesion, the entire section from Piazza del Carmine up to Piazzale Trento will be involved in a relining operation. This is a particular technique that allows you to restore old pipes by inserting a sheath of ultra-resistant material inside them. The operations will be carried out from one inspection pit to another and therefore without having to carry out impact excavations», explains the company in a note.
