The Cagliari Coast Guard rescued two lifeguards who were no longer able to reach the shore, pushed out to sea by the strong mistral .

The rescue operation took place yesterday in the Gulf of Angels . The two lifeguards, who went out to sea with the rescue vessel, were pushed out to sea by the very strong wind and were no longer able to return to shore.

After reports received on 112 and the single emergency number at sea 1530, a CP320 patrol boat was sent to the site, which arrived on site and intercepted the two lifeguards and brought one to safety, who in the meantime had clung to a canoe came to help . The other managed to reach the shore thanks to a second lifeboat.
