For about a month, a trickle of water has been coming out of the taps in the houses on Via Rockefeller and also in a part of Via della Pineta (the one near the church of San Pio X). " To take a shower with a little more water, I wake up at 5 in the morning, while the other tenants are sleeping and so almost no one turns on the taps at that time ," says Raffaele Mandis, a resident of Via Rockefeller. "We can't go on like this anymore."
Mandis had the idea of making a petition to send to Abbanoa "hoping that they will meet us halfway". The collection of signatures, signed by about thirty tenants of numbers 2 and 27 of via Rockefeller, and the formal complaints of the same, were sent to the institution yesterday morning by the administrator of the two condominiums, Marco Ghinolfi.
"The situation is causing serious problems," says the latter, "after the repair of the pipeline on Via della Pineta in January, users in the area, especially on the upper floors, are complaining of a sharp drop in pressure and are forced to resort to the strangest stratagems to be able to take a shower or wash the dishes . They are really worried."
Asked for a reply, Abbanoa states: «We received the report from Ghinolfi. We are not aware of any disruptions in the area or work that has caused pressure drops. We will immediately carry out the necessary checks. Often, in these cases, pressure drops are related to the conditions of the systems inside the buildings that are the responsibility of private individuals . The supply in via Rockefeller has nothing to do with the pipes in via della Pineta. They are different lines».
