The toll from an accident that took place shortly before 6.30 pm in viale Monastir, near via Ticca, on the outskirts of Cagliari is three seriously injured, in red code.

Two cars collided head-on. The impact was very violent. Only the driver was on board one of the vehicles: among those involved, he is the one who suffered the worst consequences and was transported to Brotzu.

On the other were father, mother and 10-year-old son. The little boy was transferred to the same hospital. For the mother, the ambulance was diverted to the Polyclinic, in order not to overload the San Michele emergency room.

The scenario after the crash foreshadowed the worst. But fortunately, according to what has been learned, none of the injured would be in danger of life. Two of them were pulled from the wreckage by firefighters.

The local police were also on site for surveys and to manage the road system.
