In Cagliari the Civic Museums also open their doors at Easter .

The Municipal Art Gallery , the Palazzo di Città and the Stefano Cardu Siamese Art Museum will be open to visitors from 10 to 18. An extraordinary opening of the three museums is scheduled for Easter Monday, in the usual opening hours to allow citizens of Cagliari and the numerous tourists who have arrived in the city these days to visit the permanent civic collections and temporary exhibitions. At the Municipal Art Gallery it will be possible to admire the Ingrao Collection , a collection of works by Italian artists of the 19th and 20th centuries donated to the Municipality, by bequest, by Francesco Paolo Ingrao in 1999, and the works of the Sardinian sculptor Francesco Ciusa, belonging to the Civic collection.

In dialogue with the permanent exhibition, on the first floor, it will be possible to visit the temporary exhibition Lia Drei - Forms and geometries of light, curated by Teodolinda Coltellaro . The retrospective dedicated to Lia Drei, one hundred years after her birth, places the accent on the role of female artists in the second half of the last century and on the incessant research work towards the shape-color perception carried out by Drei during the his life. Monday 10th April is the last day to visit the exhibition.

At the Palazzo di Città it will be possible to visit the exhibition “ Ludica . The toy as a symbol of change between two centuries”, inaugurated on 31 March and open until 4 June, while the Siamese Art Museum Stefano Cardu offers the public the permanent collection of oriental art donated to the Municipality by the collector from Cagliari Stefano Cardu, adventurous traveler who lived for many years in Siam, now Thailand.
