Cagliari, attempts to steal an expensive purse from La Rinascente: 20-year-old arrested

He was stopped by the carabinieri after he attempted to steal an Emporio Armani brand purse , worth €215, from Rinascente in Cagliari .

A twenty-year-old resident of the capital, unemployed and with previous charges against him, was then reported on the loose for aggravated theft .

The young man was first stopped by the Rinascente's internal security guards as he attempted to leave the store without going through the cash desks. Then the intervention of the Arma military.

The stolen goods were recovered and returned to the store manager .
