The rift between the Mont'e Prama Foundation and the Municipality of Cabras will land in the Council twice .

The municipal councilor Alessandra Lochi, a representative of the local Democratic Party, presented a second question on the well-known dispute between the two institutions . This time Lochi asks to know if the accusations made by the Foundation regarding the obligations imposed by the institution's deed of incorporation by the Municipality are true or not.

"I ask mayor Abis to report to the City Council - the document reads - regarding the alleged inaction of the Municipality in fulfilling the obligations set by the Articles of Association and in particular who should be held responsible for this very serious inaction ".

Lochi refers to the letter that the Foundation recently sent to Mayor Abis regarding the timing of the transfer of the "Marongiu" civic museum to the Mont'e Prama Foundation.

The Foundation has also asked to have updated information about the end of the works on the new wing of the museum , which has stopped since the end of June 2022. But also about the expropriation and urban planning adaptation procedures of the areas of Mont'e Prama which should become an open-air museum open. According to the Foundation, these shortcomings would compromise its activities. To know the answers of the mayor, we will have to wait for the City Council.
