The mayor of Cabras Andrea Abis doesn't mince words: «It is necessary to immediately draw up a precise calendar that indicates when the emergency medical service will be least active. Only in this way will it be possible to inform the population." In Cabras the service continues to operate in fits and starts.

To understand, just go back a few days. After days of closure, the doors of the clinic in via Tharros opened again on Thursday evening after eight o'clock. On Friday, however, without any warning from the local health authority, no doctor showed up. Reason why so many citizens reached the emergency room in Oristano. The same thing will happen again tomorrow, Monday 5 February: the clinic, in fact, will be closed again. This time, however, the local health authority made the inefficiency known via the website. "Citizens are invited to contact the nearby medical emergency points in case of need", it continues. On the same day, however, the Oristano medical emergency clinic in via Carducci was also closed. So it's better not to feel bad.

However, as of Tuesday we still don't know what will happen. Abis has repeatedly pointed out the problem linked to absent communication to the ASL management: «The general director has recognized the need to improve information and has made a commitment to prepare a shift calendar - he explains - The information services of the Municipality are available to facilitate communication to all citizens."
