Cabras, Piazza Stagno invaded by campers without control

In the heart of Cabras, in Piazza Stagno, holidays are free. For about two weeks what should be the jewel in the crown of the town has been invaded by campers.

They arrive late at night, park their vehicle in the parking lots that residents usually fill, and then go to sleep. For vacationers, who have moved away from the coast in recent days due to bad weather, a free vacation overlooking the Mar'e Pontis pond. For the territory, however, no entry. In fact, the law does not expressly prohibit the possibility of sleeping in your vehicle as long as you do not camp. In Cabras, there are those who keep the awning down and those who do not.

All this happens also because there is no specific municipal ordinance that prohibits sleeping on the street. Just as there is no area in Cabras to park campers with all the services, including loading and unloading water. As is instead present in almost all coastal territories. But not only campers.

Piazza Stagno continues to be the land of the uncivilized. Many abandon waste of all kinds. On the ground there are papers, glass bottles, plastic bottles and much more.

There is no shortage of syringes. The signs that should explain the territory are not welcoming either. Above them only meaningless writings made by vandals.

The situation does not change even in the "little beach" built by the Municipality some time ago on the banks of the pond: a gem. Now however it is covered with tall grass.
