This is how the 51-year-old 118 volunteer was killed yesterday in Buddusò . The crime took place at the headquarters of the Intervol association where Pusceddu, a resident of Cagliari and originally from Portoscuso, worked as a volunteer.

The killer reportedly knocked on the door of the association, housed inside a private building, asking for Pusceddu. His face was uncovered, he fired, and fled through the town's streets .

A manhunt was launched immediately. The investigation is being conducted by the Carabinieri of the Ozieri Operational Unit and the Sassari Provincial Command. The prosecutor Elisa Succu is in charge of the case.

All leads are being pursued regarding the motive, but the most likely, given the nature of the crime, is personal revenge . There is still no trace of the murder weapon, a small-caliber pistol.
