"My name is Jacopo and I am writing to tell you about a serious incident that occurred in Cagliari yesterday evening, January 20, around 8:30 pm." This is how a young man from Cagliari begins his report of an incident that occurred in via Premuda.

Here is the story: «My friend and I were the victims of an attack for no apparent reason, by a group of seven young people while we were leaving the university canteen in Via Premuda. While we were trying to avoid them, they threw objects at us, including a piece of iron and a bottle. When my friend tried to dissuade them by throwing the bottle back – continues the young man – they ran towards us and started hitting us. My diagnosis was a non-concussive head trauma, fortunately with negative parameters, while my companion was left covered in bruises and contusions, seriously risking his life, in addition to his trauma to his face and nose» .

"Thanks to the intervention of the police, we were able to report the incident, but we are still deeply shocked by the episode and worried about the safety of university students in the area. This event - concludes the young student - has highlighted the vulnerability of those who live and study in our city" .
