Bono, too many uncivilized people: used clothing collection stopped

Used clothing collection service no longer available in the municipality of Bono. Too many uncivilized people and violators of the rules governing disposal. The Ecotessile company, which operates on behalf of the Authority, has informed the municipal administration of its intention to permanently discontinue the used clothing collection service . This decision was made due to objective difficulties in managing the activity efficiently. Too often, the disposal did not comply with the collection schedule and was carried out in a manner inconsistent with the permitted procedures.

On several occasions, the company encountered garments being abandoned near the bins when they were full. "The constant reminders to dispose of them according to the company's instructions were in vain ," the municipal administration explains. "It's unfortunate that a service that had proven to be extremely useful has been interrupted due to the fault of a few individuals."

From now on, used clothing will be collected in the ways and forms established by the waste collection service.

"We simultaneously encourage and warn anyone not to abandon clothing where the bins were located until a few days ago," the administration adds. "Any violators will be prosecuted in accordance with current waste disposal regulations."
