Two nights ago, fire destroyed a Nissan Pajero belonging to a financier in town. Last night, a bomb exploded under a carabiniere's car . The scene of the latest episode was Posada, but the line of fire still leads to Siniscola, because it is here, in the Monte Pizzunnu squadrons, that the soldier targeted by the bomb serves. Two state officials were hit in a few hours, in a trail of intimidation and violence that in 2025 alone has already seen six arson attacks on cars. Episodes that have been recorded in dozens in 2024: more than 30 vehicles destroyed by flames.

In Siniscola, is the red line being crossed? There has certainly been a leap in quality, with the direct attack on those who are trying to shed light on a climate that those who live in the town of Baronia, the honest and silent majority, can no longer stand: the tension is sky-high, the episodes are too frequent.

Insecurity dominates and extends to the entire territory. This morning the mayor of Posada, Salvatore Ruju, went to the site of the latest attack to show closeness and solidarity to the carabiniere who was hit: the mayor is also worried about an escalation that seems unstoppable, governed by criminal dynamics that, at the moment, remain hidden in the darkness of the night and are illuminated only by the flames, when the criminals decide to strike.
