Attempted theft from the vending machine, 50-year-old under arrest in Cagliari

A 50-year-old was arrested overnight in Cagliari , in the act of crime, by agents of the State Police for attempted aggravated theft .
The agents of the Flying Squad passing near a fuel service station in San Michele , surprised the 50-year-old while he was trying to smash the window of a "Self-24" drinks vending machine with a cross key. At the sight of the policemen, the man attempted a short escape, but was caught and blocked soon after.
The 50 -year-old, homeless and known by the police for similar precedents, was detained at the Police Headquarters in Cagliari pending the validation hearing for direct line set for this morning.
