A thirty-year-old woman is the victim of the alleged sexual assault ( HERE the news ) which allegedly took place in an abandoned building site, not far from the basilica of San Simplicio, in the heart of Olbia .
The victim of the rape attempt, after initial medical treatment in the Giovanni Paolo II hospital, confirmed the accusations against a 32-year-old man from Olbia, with whom she had entered the construction site in Via Andrea Doria .
According to the investigations, the Carabinieri of the Territorial Department of Olbia (Radiomobile Section) saved the woman, who had already been overwhelmed by the alleged perpetrator of the attack. The events occurred late yesterday evening inside a building surrounded by an abandoned area .
The man arrested by the Carabinieri on charges of sexual assault was apparently hit by the victim several times and was visited by a doctor who drew up a report acquired by the Tempio Prosecutor's Office. The alleged rapist, defended by the lawyer Giovanna Porcu, will be questioned on Monday morning by the investigating judge of the Tempio Court.
