Asia Loddo is dead. The sixteen-year-old girl who was involved in an accident on Wednesday evening in Viale Marconi, near Is Pontis Paris , did not make it: her vital functions stopped in the intensive care unit of the Brotzu hospital, where she had been transported unconscious by the 118 emergency workers.
The girl was riding a scooter with an eighteen-year-old friend when the vehicle went out of control and the two young women fell heavily onto the asphalt.
The intervention of 118 was immediate, but Asia never recovered, while her friend remained alert, despite the serious injuries: she is still hospitalized at the Policlinico of Monserrato.
The parents of Asia Loddo, born in Cagliari but resident in Quartu, have decided to donate her organs.
