Sardinia is approaching 85% of vaccinated residents.

Currently, according to government data, the percentage is 82.5% of the total population, that is, 1,319,237 with a double dose of just under 1.6 million.

The campaign advances with about a thousand first doses every 24 hours, while the boosters reach 61.6% of the population over 12 and the pediatric doses 40.5%, or 33,970 first doses on an audience of 83,872 children aged 5 to 11 years (18,218 first doses, 21.7%).

In recent days, the governor Solinas and the councilor for health Mario Nieddu had underlined the "steps forward" of the regional vaccination campaign, inviting us to "continue on this path": "The vaccine and anti-contagion good practices - pointed out Nieddu - they remain our strongest weapons against a virus that still represents a risk. In this battle each of us is called to do their part and we will continue to use every tool available to win this war ".
