After four months, Poetto receives authorization to remove the beached boat.

After nearly four months of waiting , authorization has been granted by the regional department for local government to remove the sailboat beached at the first stop on the Poetto beach in Cagliari. As announced by the municipality, work will begin on Monday, June 29th, with the setting up of the construction site. The vessel, flying the Polish flag , washed ashore on March 6th, dragged by the waves after suffering a leak in its hull.

The approval of the General Directorate of Local Authorities and Finance of the Sardinia Region was essential to begin operations. The operation will allow the wreck to be removed safely, in compliance with the requirements set by the competent authorities .

The Municipality urges residents and swimmers to pay attention to signs and safety instructions during the work.
