Cagliari, bomb squads in action at the Court: the explosion to check a suspicious suitcase

An abandoned suitcase near the Palace of Justice of Cagliari has alerted the police and triggered the security procedures.

The carabinieri of San Bartolomeo intervened, cordoning off the area and alerting the bomb squad to check its contents.

The bomb squad flashed the suitcase , inside which clothes were found. No bombs.

Subsequent checks made it possible to ascertain that the suitcase belonged to an African boy in court for an international protection procedure.

Inside the Court, work continued normally.
