The trafficker who murdered the 17-year-old girl in Su Giudeu has been identified and arrested .
The Cagliari prosecutor's office, led by prosecutor Emanuele Secci, has acquired videos showing the motorboat arriving at high speed and rearing up in an area crowded with swimmers .
According to an initial reconstruction, based on witness statements and compared with video footage, it appears that none of the migrants realized they had struck and run over someone . They were informed immediately afterward, when the Carabinieri identified the person steering the vessel.
For the moment the man has not been charged with failure to provide assistance, but was arrested only because he was believed to be the alleged trafficker .
As for updates on the girl's medical condition, fortunately, the 17-year-old has a better prognosis, albeit serious, than initially feared.
