A serious accident occurred this morning on State Road 126 near Guspini, on the road leading to San Nicolò d'Arcidano. For reasons still under investigation, two cars collided.

A fifty-one-year-old man needed emergency medical assistance from Cagliari Airport. Once on site, the ambulance picked up the injured man, who was transported to Brotzu Hospital in serious condition.

A passenger in one of the cars also suffered minor injuries. She is pregnant, and was taken to the hospital in San Gavino by a second ambulance for evaluation. The Carabinieri, in addition to the 118 emergency team, also responded to the scene.
