Reorganization of Plus rejected in commission: message to Bartolazzi

The opposition had spoken of an expensive juggernaut that brought with it appointments and new positions. The president of the Region, Alessandra Todde, had replied: false, savings will be guaranteed. But the Health Commission (where the majority is from Campo Largo) also rejected the reorganization of the management of social and health planning implemented at the municipal level through the Plus (Local Unitary Plans for Personal Services). In fact, a negative opinion - with an excerpt from the Budget variation - which represents a slam dunk for the regional health councilor, Armando Bartolazzi.
Paolo Truzzu (Brothers of Italy) and Umberto Ticca (Reformers) had attacked: «For the management of the 26 areas present in Sardinia, 26 directors are expected with an annual salary of 80 thousand euros: a total expense of over 2 million euros per year». In the management of social policies, Truzzu added, «the Municipalities often make up for it with their own economic and human resources, guaranteeing the provision of the service for the citizens. With the creation of the Consortia there is a concrete risk that a well-oiled mechanism will block and that, consequently, the citizen will not have the service».
From Villa Devoto they replied that «councillors Truzzu and Ticca are hinting at the idea of a subtraction of resources from the operations of the Plus in favor of an “expensive juggernaut” that they say would subtract resources from Sardinian citizens. The exact opposite is true: the resources used will serve to guarantee extremely advantageous management savings for the territorial areas and in cascade for the Municipalities, which as is well known are caught between the limitations of the Stability Pact and the need to cope with the implementation of services, which remain at a standstill due to the impossibility of hiring staff».
But now, after the vote of the Health Commission, the operation is off. At least for now.
