Green light in the Regional Council for the 2022 budget of 9.5 billion euros. This is the first political maneuver of the Legislature that will be remembered above all for the measures to combat depopulation. The provision, approved with 28 votes in favor and 18 against, provides for the allocation of almost 250 million for three years to assign a bonus of 600 euros for children under five years of age and residing in municipalities with less than three thousand inhabitants; non-repayable grants for the purchase or renovation of first homes in the area covered by the subsidy; contributions of up to 15 thousand euros for the opening of a business or the transfer of the company to the municipality in question.

Among the most important measures: the release of Forestas' turnover (46 million for a three-year recruitment plan to replace workers who have retired since 2010); 40 million to farmers to cope with the high prices of raw materials; 45 million for the scrolling of the Resisto ranking; 300 thousand euros for the feasibility study of a Sardinian Newco for air transport; the equalization of the indemnities of Sardinian local administrators to those of colleagues from the Peninsula. Of the approximately 9.5 billion, almost half is destined for healthcare spending. Another important slice is destined for the mission on local self-government: inside there are the six hundred million of the single fund of local authorities.
