A documentary film recounting the recent history of Gallura and the dawn of the Costa Smeralda. "La Rotta del Principe," by Fausto Farinelli , retraces those adventurous and pioneering years through the sea, the places, and above all, the firsthand account of Pietro Moro . The documentary recounts one of the first voyages along the coast that, in later years, would become the Costa Smeralda .

It was presented last Friday, October 9th, at the Tenuta Pilastru in Arzachena, with a high-profile audience: the architect Giancarlo Busiri Vici, one of the figures directly linked to the original season of the Costa Smeralda; Pietro Moro , who with his firsthand testimony retraced one of the first navigations along that coast.

The documentary delves into the more human dimension of those pioneering years, capturing the charm of a still-untouched Gallura, the encounters, insights, and emotions of a period destined to profoundly change the region. It was an intense, engaging evening, brimming with memories. Among the keynote speakers were architect Enzo Satta and engineer Silvio Pippobello , whose stories reconstructed the atmosphere of an era marked by insights, projects, and major transformations.

Among the most touching moments was the personal testimony of Count Luigi Donà delle Rose , who shared memories of his youth with Prince Karim Aga Khan . This private account gave the audience a profoundly human image of the Prince: that of a young man capable of creating relationships, friendships, and bonds destined to leave a lasting mark.

"La Rotta del Principe" was created to collect and preserve stories that would otherwise risk being forgotten, thus transforming them into a heritage accessible to new generations. After its world premiere in Arzachena, the documentary will be screened throughout Sardinia, to raise awareness and disseminate the remarkable story of a region, its people, and its achievements. The documentary film, produced by Media Web Channel with ANCE Sardegna as the main sponsor, will be available on the official website: www.larottadelprincipe.com
