The president of the Sardinian Action Party, Antonio Moro , puts the brakes on the request of the secretary Christian Solinas to convene an extraordinary congress of the Psd'Az .
According to Moro, the request cannot be automatically granted, "but must be subjected to a thorough statutory and regulatory review." According to the party's statute, a resolution from the assembly would be required.
Moro requests that the interested sections submit the formal documentation relating to each indicated section: notice of the meeting, minutes, resolution adopted, and any other document useful for verifying its validity.
A series of steps that aren't immediate. Not only that. Moro's requests also include an updated list of eligible members for 2026 , the duly constituted sections, and their membership numbers. Furthermore, a statement explains, according to the statute, "the president has the power to convene the ordinary and extraordinary congress and is designated as the primary guarantor of party unity."
Further obstacles to the convocation are "the presence of organizational issues still outstanding within the party, both with regard to the statutory bodies that are not yet established or are not fully operational, and the need to clearly define the composition of the competent bodies."
