"It wasn't easy going through hell."

Antonello Peru returns to the regional council chamber after suspension due to the effects of the Severino law and reinstatement following the acquittal on appeal of the crime of attempted extortion .

"In this noble house I would like to say something because I haven't been able to do it for too long", he began, "I don't care who will pay or give me back everything, what has passed no longer exists".

"It wasn't easy going through hell," Peru said. Being spied on, locked in a cell, removed from loved ones and kicked out of one's job, trampling on the electoral mandate . I don't bear grudges and I publicly thank so many of you for the many messages of solidarity and closeness".

In Peru's speech there was no lack of an attack on Marco Tedde , the councilor who replaced him for a year: «First he sent me messages of closeness and solidarity, then he appealed against me, anyone who behaves like this doesn't deserve to represent the Sardinians ».

At the conclusion of his speech, Peru wanted to dedicate his return to the Chamber to Giorgio Oppi , "whom I am recalling together with my colleague Tunis by presenting our new political force that wants to make citizens protagonists", he said referring to the new entity founded by the two Sardinian councilors at the center of 20Venti.
