First official candidates for the vote on 25 September. They are those approved by the national leadership of the Democratic Party which met late yesterday evening.
The list leader in the plurinominal for the Chamber will be Silvio Lai , the former senator indicated in the island by the current of the Popular Reformists, in second place is the president of the Labor Commission of Montecitorio Romina Mura .
The list header in the plurinominal for the Senate will be Marco Meloni , a former deputy and currently coordinator of the party's national secretariat. These are the three names who should have no problem getting into Parliament.
The outgoing deputy Gavino Manca , chosen instead to compete in the senatorial college of Northern Sardinia, will not run on the proportional basis. Also for the Senate, the presence in the South Sardinia college of the former rector of the University of Cagliari Maria Del Zompo has been confirmed.
In the four single-member candidates for the Chamber are candidates the constitutionalist Carla Bassu (Sassari-Olbia college), the former deputy Michele Piras (Nuoro college), Franca Fara (Sulcis-Iglesiente Medio Campidano college) and the outgoing Andrea Frailis (Metropolitan City of Cagliari).
Returning to the proportional, third on the list for the Chamber is the Pd secretary of the province of Cagliari Francesco Lilliu , fourth Carla Bassu . Second for the Senate will be Maria Del Zompo, third the former regional councilor Antonio Solinas .
