What is certain is that, recently, the interceptions captured in the now infamous meetings between magistrates and politicians in Roman hotels, without the knowledge of the parliamentarians, were deemed unusable by the Italian Parliament and the Constitutional Court will be called to judge on the conflict of attribution with the CSM.

«Several judicial fronts have opened up against me and, so far, I have obtained important and significant acquittals, even definitive. I trust that full acquittal can also be achieved for those still pending and I confirm that, for now, there has been no conviction".

How is the history of wiretapping with the trojan?

"It's a story that has yet to be written. For the moment there are ongoing investigations, both at the Florence and Naples prosecutors' offices, aimed at establishing whether there have been irregularities in the recordings and intermittences that have allowed only some conversations to be intercepted compared to others ».

She is at home in Sardinia because she has been going there for over 20 years. Are there any allegations concerning you for entrepreneurial initiatives in the Olbia area?

«I trust that the preliminary hearing will be the place in which to definitively clarify this surreal story concerning the management of a kiosk on the beach of Porto Istana. Nothing happened in a hidden or illegal way and I have always remained totally extraneous to the management. It hurts me to know that, together with me, honest and dedicated people have been involved in this affair who, despite themselves, have ended up in the middle of the struggle between the factions for the appointment of the Prosecutor of Rome".

Did you know that a judge of the Tempio Court, accused of corruption, was recently acquitted together with the businessman Manuel Spano?

«Humanly, I was happy to learn that the story that also involved Dr. Cristiano ended positively».

He is touring Italy to talk about his story crystallized in two successful books. How does the public welcome it?

«I would never have imagined all this interest in the theme of justice and above all the positive reception which, despite the mud thrown at me by some press organs, many citizens wanted to give me. Mine will never be a story against the judiciary but only the desire to make people understand what hasn't worked in the context of an institution that is fundamental for the democratic life of a country".

How did the synergy with Alessandro Sallusti come about?

«It was born day after day. Overcoming the initial diffidence, a feeling was created with a single goal: to render a service to democracy by piercing the veil of hypocrisy that often characterizes the world of institutions".

Previously he was considered a champion of the left. Now where does it stand?

«In reality I have always been independent and I have constantly fought for an autonomous and impartial and non-politicised judiciary. Today I realize that my speech arouses the attention of a large part of the electorate who vote for the centre-right, but not only. I hope that the time may be ripe to arrive at a reform of justice in the interest of citizens".

He wanted to apply but perhaps it is still early…

«My commitment continues: an association called “Beyond the system” has been set up and which day after day is attracting the interest of many citizens who wish to participate actively in issues concerning justice but not only. It is my firm intention to continue on this path".

In addition to active politics, what projects do you have? a third book?

"I think that in my future there will certainly be a third book and a political commitment to fair justice".
