The great dance in Sabaudia speaks Sardinian: the journalist from Porto Torres Monica Lubinu, one of the most accredited ballet experts at a national level, will present the events of “Incontro la danza”, four great evenings with famous people within the Sabaudia Dance Festival scheduled at the Belvedere del Lago di Paola starting at 7:45 pm. An equal number of books will be presented in order to bring together two worlds that are apparently distant yet closely linked, dance and literature.
The program, organized by the island's dance critics in collaboration with Gramese Editori, will begin this evening, Monday 26 August, with the presentation of "Chiamatemi Maestra" by Alessandra Celentano, a name well-known for her presence in Maria De Filippi's talent show as a teacher, judge and team leader for over a decade. An extraordinary personality that Monica Lubinu hopes to bring to Sardinia as soon as possible.
Tomorrow we expect Annamaria Prina, former director of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and an internationally renowned dancer, who will present her book “Incontro con la danza”. The following day the protagonist will be Elena Viti, also a former dancer who has studied the methodologies of teaching dance to children and the role that this discipline has in the education and training of new generations. Her book “Educato in danza” is intended as a concrete guide for anyone who wants to undertake a path of childhood dance training.
The program will end with Flavia Pappacena on Thursday 29 August: the dancer, art historian and scholar of theory and history of Italian dance presents her book dedicated to Jia Ruskaja and analyzes the artistic life path of the Russian dancer who founded the national dance academy. Among the illustrious guests there will be Raffaele Paganini and the maestro at the Amici school Emanuel Lo. Admission is free for all evenings.
