No surprises, for now. The Legabasket assembly, which met this afternoon, ratified the registration of the 16 clubs that have acquired the right to participate in the Serie A championship.

Dinamo thus remains in Serie A2, as confirmed on the pitch. It should be noted, however, that the official lineup for the top division will only be announced on July 16th, when the Federal Council meets, following the pronouncements of two important bodies: the Facilities Commission, which is responsible for verifying the suitability of the arena chosen by the clubs, and the Independent Commission for verifying the economic and financial balance. Currently, all 16 appear to be in compliance, with Trieste announcing a significant budget reduction following the losses incurred in recent seasons.

Clearly, the Sassari club can't wait any longer, and new sporting director Paolo Citrini has been working in recent weeks to scout players who might be suitable for new coach Luca Vitali and begin negotiations. Contracts expire tomorrow, so new announcements could be made as early as Wednesday for the roster, which currently includes only two forwards: Brooks and Aromando. It's likely the next signing will be an Italian again, perhaps in the wing position.
