Turned into the investigation into the death of Laura Ziliani , the 55-year-old ex-vigilante, originally from Temù, in the Brescia area, who disappeared into thin air on 8 May last and whose body was found among the vegetation in the village of Alta Vallecamonica on 8 August.
This morning, two of the three daughters of the woman, widow since 2012, and the boyfriend of the eldest were arrested by the Brescia carabinieri.
Silvia and Paola Zani, 27 and 19, and Mirto Milani, 27, residing in the province of Lecco, were joined by a precautionary custody order in prison, issued by the Judge for preliminary investigations Alessandra Sabatucci.
They are accused of the crimes of voluntary homicide, aggravated by the kinship relationship with the victim, and of concealing a corpse.
The investigations, launched by the soldiers of the Compagnia di Breno, in parallel with the searches, would have highlighted - according to what the investigators reported - numerous anomalies in the story provided by the three arrested, "leading the Prosecutor to consider the version of the accident or illness in Mountain".
"The homicidal intention is the result of a long premeditation and a criminal plan that allowed them to conceal death for a long time and to mislead the investigations", wrote the investigating judge in the order.
The motive for the crime would be of an economic nature: "The three suspects had a clear interest in replacing Laura Ziliani in the administration of a vast real estate portfolio in order to solve their respective economic problems".
