Investigations continue to shed light on the murder of Sharon Verzeni, the 33-year-old woman stabbed to death on the night between July 29 and 30 during a nighttime walk in Terno d'Isola, in the province of Bergamo.

After having listened several times to her partner Sergio Ruocco - who was at home sleeping at the time of the crime - the carabinieri summoned the woman's sister, brother-in-law and brother to the barracks. Interrogations from which the investigators hope to obtain new clues useful to the investigation.

The three family members arrived at the provincial headquarters in via delle Valli around 2:30 pm on Monday, without a lawyer, to be heard as persons informed of the facts.

Meanwhile, while we await the results of the DNA analyses collected using the so-called “Yara method” , investigators are also working on the images captured by approximately 60 video surveillance cameras in the small town in the Bergamo area.

In particular, the specialists are focusing on at least 20 silhouettes filmed by the electronic eyes. “Shadows” to which they are trying to give a name and surname. These would be people in cars, on foot and on bicycles who appear in the images of about 60 public and private cameras in the area in the period of time in which the murder was committed.

Among these people could be the woman's killer, but also someone who can provide useful details to solve what at the moment remains a mystery.
