No new measures - for now - on the Covid and Green pass front.

The infections, although increasing, are under control and are not reflected with worrying numbers on intensive care. So the government makes it known that there will be no new measures, Palazzo Chigi is waiting for December for an updated assessment of the situation. Then he will decide whether to intervene, taking into account that the state of emergency expiring at the end of the year must also be extended.

Until then, the way is to push third doses of the vaccine, which are about to reach 3 million. The only novelty, in the short term, should therefore be the obligation of the 'booster' for healthcare professionals and RSA personnel.

Millions of Italians have completed the vaccination cycle in the first half of the year and therefore their coverage, based on the latest scientific evidence, has dropped. On the one hand, push on third doses, on the other hand, try to reduce as much as possible that hard core of 6.8 million over 12 who have not yet been vaccinated.

The government focuses on raising awareness, with a new commercial that will see Alberto Angela and Giacomo Poretti of the comic trio Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo as testimonials.

The debate on the Green pass divides the experts. Meanwhile, the physicist Giorgio Sestili, founder of the Facebook page "Coronavirus-Scientific data and analysis" raises the alarm on a curve that is rising more and more rapidly, with a doubling time that has been reduced from about 20 to 14 days. For Christmas he estimates a number of cases between 25 thousand and 30 thousand.
