Domestic accident with dramatic results in Caltagirone, in the province of Catania.

A woman died when her pressure cooker exploded. The 46-year-old was cooking when the bang suddenly occurred.

Rescue efforts began within minutes, but it was all in vain. The victim, a Pakistani national and mother of 9 children, died instantly.

Just a few days ago a woman was involved in a similar accident when a coffee maker exploded .
