The autopsy on the bodies of the three women killed yesterday in Rome by stab wounds in the Prati district will be entrusted in the next few hours.

The prosecutors of the capital have formally opened two files for aggravated voluntary homicide .

The autopsy examination also aims to clarify whether the fatal wounds were inflicted with the same type of weapon .

Meanwhile, yesterday the prosecutor's inspection of the apartments where the brutal murders took place was concluded while the security cameras are being sifted through.

From what emerged the woman of Colombian origins, Martha Castano Torres, 65, was killed first in a basement in via Durazzo: she would have been hit with a "stiletto" type cutting weapon in the chest perhaps during sexual intercourse .

A short time later, the double crime in via Riboty took place, on the first floor of the building bordering piazzale Clodio. The killer secluded himself with a girl to have intercourse during which he allegedly attacked her.

Hearing the commotion, the second woman present would have intervened to block it but the killer stabbed her to death . Meanwhile the other girl, completely naked, attempted to escape but was caught up on the landing and shot .
