The Festivity decree, launched by the Draghi government to contain the new wave of infections caused by the Omicron variant, was published yesterday in the Official Gazette.

Masks, vaccines, basic and reinforced Green pass, all the clarifications on the new rules provided for by the provision.

Outdoor mask

Now it is also mandatory in the white zone. Throughout Italy it must always be worn, until January 31st.

Where to use the Ffp2

The Ffp2 mask, with high filtering power, is mandatory in cinemas, theaters, stadiums, sports halls and on all public transport, including public transport (therefore buses and subways).

Reinforced green pass

This is what cannot be achieved with the negative swab, but only through vaccination or recovery from the virus. It has been extended to various activities and is now mandatory for: bars and restaurants (even for the simple consumption of a coffee at the counter), cinemas, stadiums and sports halls, theaters, museums and exhibitions, indoor gyms and swimming pools, sports indoor team and changing rooms, spas and wellness centers, theme and amusement parks, indoor cultural, social and recreational centers (excluding those for children), game rooms, betting rooms, bingo halls and casinos, training courses in presence.

Children under the age of 12 and those who have a doctor's exemption from vaccination are exempt.

Cinemas, theaters, stadiums and sporting events

It is forbidden to consume food and drinks indoors.

Parties and discos

Closed until January 31st dance clubs and discos. Events and parties are prohibited outdoors and in public places.

Rsa

To enter the RSA as visitors, the reinforced Green pass is sufficient if the booster dose has been carried out. Alternatively, you need the reinforced Green pass plus the negative result of a swab.

Duration of the reinforced Green pass

It currently lasts nine months, starting February 1st it will last six months from the last vaccine dose administered or from the date of healing.

Third dose

No more after 5 months from the second administration, but after 4. Dose booster extended also to all 16-17 year olds and frail 12-15 year olds.

The rules for travel to the EU

For vaccinated people also need a negative swab. For the unvaccinated, in addition to the swab, a five-day quarantine is triggered.

School

No extended holidays, we return immediately and the government has made 9 million available for an extraordinary screening.

Vaccination obligation

It remains for the categories for which it was already foreseen: health and RSA personnel, law enforcement agencies and school personnel. It was thought to extend it to the public administration or to all workers in contact with the public, but the decision was postponed to the next few weeks.
