There are still several dark points in the story of little Giulia, attacked by the family pitbull in Acerra on the night between Saturday and Sunday, while she was sleeping on her parents' bed .

Let's start with the apartment: the crime scene was apparently cleaned, perhaps by the family, of traces of blood on the bedroom floor . This was reported by Luigi Montano, the lawyer of Vincenzo Loffredo, the little girl's father who is being investigated for manslaughter. Yesterday the lawyer attended the second inspection by the scientific police, and there was no blood. The first checks were carried out immediately after the death and the apartment was under seizure : "I don't know who did it - said the lawyer Montano - my client was at the police station for questioning, where he remained until 7 in the morning. The little girl's mother and other family members went to the apartment. An initial inspection by the scientific police had been done and Loffredo's mother fainted precisely because of the sight of the blood. They told my client that there were no seals when they entered".

Then there are the inconsistencies in the suspect's accounts, who initially reported in the hospital that she had been attacked in the street by a stray dog . Then, in front of the police officers, he said that it was his pitbull Tyson, without a microchip, who had mauled his daughter while he was sleeping next to the child.

Again, the two dogs in the house. In addition to the pitbull, there was also a regularly registered mongrel in the house. While no blood traces were found on Tyson (but the pitbull could have drunk and erased the stains visible to the naked eye), traces of blood were found on the mongrel .

And then the father, was he really at home? Investigators are examining the images from the video surveillance cameras in the area to dispel any doubts about the presence of Loffredo, 24 years old.

So many dark points, therefore, that bring out another investigative hypothesis. That is, that little Giulia fell from the bed and only after that the animal (or animals) attacked her .

In any case, the results of the autopsy are awaited to clarify the situation. The fact that Giulia arrived alive at the hospital would deny the initial rumor that she had suffered a broken neck bone. Other tests are awaited, the analysis of the feces of the two dogs , the results of which will be available only in about ten days. The two animals are in custody in a kennel in Frattamaggiore, in the next few days they will be visited by a behaviorist. From what we understand, the pitbull has not shown signs of aggression .

Yesterday, little Giulia's funeral was held in a locked-down cathedral, with access permitted only to close relatives.
