Tragic accident last night in Milan where a 21-year-old of Libyan origin, who fled on a scooter after seeing a police patrol, fell and died from his injuries : the ambulance ride to the Humanitas Clinic in Rozzano was useless, where the doctors could only declare him dead.

According to initial information, the relatives, having heard the news , went to the hospital and allegedly attacked those present and damaged objects . Police and carabinieri were on site.

According to an initial reconstruction by the Local Police, which is continuing its investigation, there was no contact between the Police patrol that was following him and the two-wheeled vehicle . Having lost control of the vehicle, the young man, Mahmoud Mohamed, who also turned out to be without a license , ended up crashing into a traffic light and was seriously injured.

The scooter and the patrol car crossed paths on Viale Ortles around 3:15 a.m., coming from opposite directions. Suddenly, the scooter turned left onto Via Cassano d'Adda, and the police car, suspicious of the maneuver, turned right and followed it onto Via Cassano d'Adda. The scooter drove away quickly, but shortly after, at the intersection with Via Marco D'Agrate, it skidded and ended up at a traffic light.

According to rumors, everything happened very quickly and the Flying Squad didn't even activate the lights.

A disaster that, with the necessary distinctions on the dynamics, recalls the tragic death of Ramy Elgaml , which occurred after an escape on November 24th in Milan. And as on that occasion, the driver of the vehicle was without a license.

The scooter from tonight also belongs to a boy of North African origin from the Corvetto neighborhood of Milan , where during the days of the Ramy case, who lived there, there was a half-riot with protest brawls. The investigations then led to establish that there was no illegal driving conduct by the police.

Also in this case, as then, the motorcycle involved in the accident is a T-Max .
