The lawyers of Beppe Grillo and Vincenzo Onorato are evaluating the appeal to the Court of Review on the seizures carried out as part of the investigation by the Milan prosecutor for an alleged "illicit mediation" : according to the accusations, the founder of the Cinquestelle, in exchange for a contract of 240 thousand euros to advertise Moby on his blog, he would have forwarded the requests for help made by Onorato, his old friend, to the M5S parliamentarians.
A possible challenge to the provision signed by the prosecutor Cristiana Roveda and the adjunct Maurizio Romanelli could cause the chats and all other investigative documents to be filed, allowing the defenses to make a counter-move and reply, perhaps asking for an interrogation.
Meanwhile, investigators and investigators are already working on the PCs and material seized in the offices of Beppe Grillo srl in Genoa and of Casaleggio Associati and some of the employees or former employees of the companies involved in the affair.
THE CHAT - The beacon was lit on chat in which Grillo would invite "his" parliamentarians under the ministries of Economic Development and Infrastructure, including Danilo Toninelli and Stefano Patuanelli, to have an eye on Onorato. The object would be the civil dispute between Tirrenia in extraordinary administration and the Onorato group, the extension of the agreement between the State and the Italian Shipping Company for maritime territorial continuity, which with the payment of 72 million euros would have been a breath of fresh air. , and the limitation of tax benefits only to ships embarking Italian and EU crews.
From what has become known, the messages with which the guarantor of the Movement would have supported the Moby-Honored question would have been of the type "see what you can do for him". For the ministers concerned, however, there was no pressure so that the shipowner's demands would have fallen on deaf ears.
The investigators are not convinced: those 120 thousand euros per year paid by Onorato both in 2018 and in 2019 would be too high a figure for simple advertising spaces. They want to clarify whether an intervention by the pentastellato leader aimed "at guiding public action" was not hiding behind it.
