Decisive turning point in the investigation into the death of Luigi Criscuolo , the 60-year-old from Pavia known by all as Gigi Bici .

Barbara Pasetti, a 40-year-old physiotherapist , is also formally investigated for the aggravated murder of the man.

This was made by a press release from the Pavia Public Prosecutor's Office signed by the prosecutor Fabio Napoleone.

The note from the Public Prosecutor explains that Pasetti's indictment "is fully reflected in the numerous technical investigations carried out".

The woman in fact left "her own and unequivocal biological traces inside the passenger compartment of the car" on which she is accused of killing Gigi Bici with a 7.65 caliber pistol : subsequently she got on board the car and drove the corpse of man up to the point where it was later found.

Furthermore, traces of the victim's blood were found on the weapon, which the woman had given to Criscuolo so that he could settle the accounts with her ex-husband Gian Andrea Toffano . "The botanical analyzes - underlines the note from the Public Prosecutor - have not returned any doubts about the origin of the shrubs used to cover the body of Luigi Criscuolo".

Furthermore - adds the Prosecutor - the victim's skull "was pierced by a bullet of the same caliber as the one that the pistol (fully functional) concealed by Barbara Pasetti was capable of firing; an ogive relating to such a bullet was found right in the part of the courtyard in front of the entrance door to the house, that is the place where the fact took place; the suspect also concealed other similar bullets ".

The Pavia Public Prosecutor then concludes that "no element can lead to doubt the fact that Luigi Criscuolo was killed on the property of Barbara Pasetti , that his body was hidden by shrubs from the same courtyard and that no third party subject has taken part - even as a mere aid - in such activities ".
