Domenico's death, investigation continues: NAS returns to Monaldi

The investigative activities of the NAS Carabinieri continue today, Sunday, into the case of little Domenico , the child just over two years old who died yesterday at the Monaldi hospital after a transplant performed on a damaged heart .

The military returned to the Naples hospital this morning as part of the investigation conducted by the local prosecutor's office (under Deputy Prosecutor Ricci and Deputy Prosecutor Tittaferrante) after yesterday serving notices of investigation to the six health workers under investigation, seizing their cell phones.

Meanwhile, the child's body has also been seized pending an autopsy, which will be performed in the next few hours.

Patrizia Mercolino , Domenico's mother, who continues to seek justice for what happened, will be at the notary tomorrow to set up a foundation in the little boy's name , to never forget and to help the victims of medical malpractice.

The date of the little boy's funeral is not yet known , but it could be held on Thursday or Friday.
