The boy who hit his 50-year-old mother's partner with a crossbow, seriously injuring him, is a 28-year-old from Nuoro.

The young man had long since moved to Tivoli, in the province of Rome. Last week yet another quarrel between the two, linked to the fact that apparently the boy did not accept his relationship with his mother.

At the height of the discussion, the 28-year-old grabbed a crossbow and threw a dart behind the victim, who was shot in the kidney. The 28-year-old's mother gave the alarm: the carabinieri and two ambulances arrived immediately on the spot. The man was on the ground in very serious condition.

He was then rescued by the 118 operators who requested the intervention of an air ambulance that transported him to the Gemelli polyclinic in Rome. Here he was operated on and is now hospitalized subject to prognosis.

The young Sardinian, enrolled at the university and seems to be a lover of weapons, was still in the house: he did not offer any resistance to the soldiers who arrested him for attempted murder. Now he is locked up in the Rebibbia prison.
