The bulletin that accounts for Covid cases must remain unchanged.
This is the orientation that emerged during today's meeting of the Technical Scientific Committee regarding the request of the Regions to change the methods of counting Covid patients in hospitals.
The Regions, Sardinia also agreed on the proposal as Councilor Nieddu confirmed , asked not to count among Covid patients people who are hospitalized for other problems and then find themselves positive for the swab, even if they do not have the symptoms of infection with SarsCov2.
With this operation, the Regions would like to reduce the number of hospitalizations to avoid the change of band, but these patients - even if they have no symptoms - if positive, they still end up in the Covid wards.
The experts also reiterated the need to continue counting asymptomatic people who enter the hospital for other reasons but are positive to monitor the progress of the pandemic and identify variants.
