The 11-year-old boy from Gragnano who is in intensive care at the Santobono hospital in Naples for Covid remains in very serious, albeit stable, conditions.

The 11-year-old, according to news agencies, remains intubated and sedated and the doctors are waiting for a positive signal of reaction to the therapy.

The boy arrived two days ago with respiratory problems and tested positive for Covid which, according to the doctors, he had contracted for about a week. He was immediately hospitalized and then had a heart attack and pneumothorax which led to his current severe and life-threatening intensive care condition.

The boy remains at the Santobono due to the danger of a possible transfer to the infectious disease hospital.
