A five-year-old girl accused a serious illness linked to an intoxication from a dose of cocaine from her father ended up in a glass of water instead of a drug. The fact - according to reports from the local press - happened in a house in Ravenna on the evening of Christmas Eve.

The child's father himself called 118, worried about his daughter's condition, first taken to the emergency room in Ravenna and then to the Sant'Orsola hospital in Bologna to be admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit.

The doctors managed to stabilize her: therefore she would no longer be in danger of life even if it will take more time to assess her general condition.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor on duty has opened a file for serious negligent injuries.

The police - who intervened with the Volanti already in the emergency room following a report from the health workers - are also collecting information through the Mobile team. From a first inspection of the little girl's home carried out with the Forensic Department, traces of cocaine emerged as a confirmation of the reconstruction of the facts carried out so far. Some of the neighbors, already heard, have not returned elements that suggest particular domestic problems of that family unit made up of Ravenna.

The father spoke of an error for which there is no peace: that is, he would have accidentally poured the powder of cocaine into the water instead of that of the medicine, a laxative or a diuretic.
