Tragedy on the A1 motorway, near Fiano Romano (Rome).
During the days of the emergency in the Lampedusa hotspot, a bus full of around fifty migrants transferring from Porto Empedocle to the reception centers in Piedmont had a head-on impact with a heavy vehicle.
The two drivers, both Italian, died: one instantly, the other thrown from the passenger compartment.
Twenty-five migrants were injured, some seriously, and were transported to multiple hospitals in the area.
The traffic police took care of the findings.
