Pittalis: "The outrage of those who make mistakes and then aren't held accountable for them must end."Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
There's one issue that's particularly close to my heart: miscarriages of justice, which are rife in our country. There's a Zuncheddu bill that our national secretary Tajani strongly supported. We'll work hard to collect signatures to restore dignity to those who suffer miscarriages of justice.
Sardinian Forza Italia MP Pietro Pittalis made the announcement while speaking at the Southern Italy Assembly in Reggio Calabria. "The outrage of those who make mistakes and then aren't held accountable for them must end," Pittalis stated, referring to the case of the unjustly convicted former pastor from Burcei . "Because in our country, there's only one category that enjoys absolute impunity, and that's the judiciary."
"Our reforms," Pittalis concluded, "are not against the judiciary, but rather support a healthy judiciary, one that works with measures, that doesn't engage in politics, and that doesn't use courtrooms as a stage for careerism."
