They allegedly mistreated for eight years, from 2013 to 2021, a couple of children, brother and sister, entrusted to them by a “foster home” of the social services of Turin. The carabinieri have notified two bans on approaching a couple of former foster carers of minors.
THE INVESTIGATIONS - The investigation, coordinated by the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office, was born from an excerpt of a broader investigation and aimed at verifying foster care methods, the related economic dynamics and the circumstances of custody and maintenance of minors, as well as ascertain "worrying analogies - reads a note from the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Turin - with the well-known judicial events relating to custody of which the Public Prosecutor of Reggio Emilia has dealt with".
Further investigations are underway aimed at verifying any responsibilities of the institutional structures involved in the dynamics and procedures of the same assignment "with checks on managers, officials and assistants of the territorial services involved in various capacities".
"BIBBIAN HYPOTHESIS" - During the operations, the offices of the psychotherapist involved in the dynamics of placement of the minors under investigation were also searched: this is Nadia Bolognini, the ex-partner of Claudio Foti - one of the main figures in the case of Bibbiano -, and already involved in the proceedings of the Reggio Emilia prosecutor's office. Bolognini, according to what is learned from the press agencies, is being investigated for false ideology.
MALTRATAMENTI - The children subjected to maltreatment in the investigation of the Piedmontese prosecutor are the children of a Nigerian woman, entrusted in 2013 to a couple of women: their mother had recently been left by her partner and was in serious economic difficulties. There was also a complaint - on whose validity there are still doubts - of an alleged sexual violence against minors against the man. The hypothesis of the investigators is that the children, during the course of foster care, have undergone psychological conditioning attributable to the crime of mistreatment.
