The Minister of University and Research, Maria Cristina Messa, will arrive in Sassari tomorrow morning.
The first stop will be the new branch of the "Mario Sironi" Academy of Fine Arts, together with the director of the Academy, Antonio Bisaccia.
Within the approximately 7 thousand square meters of the former slaughterhouse, laboratories and new classrooms have been created as part of the redevelopment project - still in progress - of the structure that will take the name of "EX-MA.Ter" - Campus of visual arts and entertainment and will host not only the Scenography, Painting and New Technologies courses, but also the single-cycle second level academic diploma course in Restoration of stone and derivative materials, decorated surfaces of architecture (enabling for the profession of restorer of Cultural Heritage).
Subsequently, the minister will be present at the award ceremony for the winners of the “Figurative, digital and scenographic arts” section of the National Arts Award (PNA), in the Sassu room of the “Luigi Canepa” conservatory.
At 11, a meeting will be held at the University in the presence of the Rector of the Sassari university, Gavino Mariotti, and that of Cagliari, Francesco Mola, together with the academic staff.
At 12.15 the ribbon cutting at the Mas.Edu museum for the exhibition created as part of the National Prize of the Arts, which will remain open until next January 15 with the exhibition of the works created by the students.
